Snoop Dogg Caricature Painter, Photoshop March 2007
First I made a pencil sketch of Snoop on paper. I still prefer sketching on paper in stead of sketching on my Wacom. I focused a lot on his characteristics, like the his skinny physique and his peak face. I used Corel Painter (Snoop) and Photoshop (background) for my painting. It took me about 10 hours. I looked at several photo’s of Snoop to examine his shapes and the light effect on his face. I’m still practicing in getting the right balance between recognizability and exaggeration.
